on human culture and treatment of wild animals, animal death
"...was forced to be put down due to becoming unafraid of humans." is one of the most fucked up things when you think about it.if humans didn't have such a superiority complex about it, our society and cultures weren't such profound dicks about it, and we are more attuned with nature and wildlife then people wouldn't feel it necessary to do that to animals who's only crime was trusting humans. how dare we punish them for existing and living in the same space as us.
"but its not good/safe for the animals to be near humans... " oh fuck right the hell off, we coexisted with animals for tens of thousands of years and it wasn't nearly as much of a problem for most of human history, this is a relatively recent mindset and im tired of people pretending that its ok.
