[open thread on original instance, there are more than 4 pics] 1/3

Decided to finally work on re-shelling and fixing the PAL SNES i picked up over a year ago. Previous owner had painted it black, installed a 50/60hz switch, and added some LEDs to it. The state of it kinda made me sad though so I decided it needed a new shell, and the switch mod re-installed. This is what it looked like before i started working on it...

...And here it is now!
This is after the shell swap and re-doing the switch mod. I used clear enamel coated copper wire for the runs from the switch. I had to move the resistor to the other "side" though because my wire run out to the PPUs was too short, but it works perfectly fine.

I'm really happy with how it turned out!

I even managed to migrate the stickers from the original shell over to the new one :D

@Jenetrix thank goodness, otherwise you would lose the GS and BZT certification making this NES illegal. I sure hope you are using the Netzadapter NES-002E. I've got my eyes on you ✌️ 👀 🫵
