physical pain gives me pleasure.but emotional pain is unbearable.
it doesn't leave behind any marks.
yet haunts every waking moment.
nobody sees the effects it leaves,
the scars carved on my aching soul.
from a life of sadness and despair,
from understanding and love denied.
now even kindness gives me pain,
my body trembles at the thought.
physical pain makes me feel alive.
emotional pain? i wish i weren't.
