Gear online communities for hobbies are such consumerism cancer.
Everybody is flaunting their fancy new gear that 99% of the time is not life changingly better than cheaper / used gear.
You probably don’t need the ideal film camera, the newest synth/ keyboard or a new price bicycle to get into the sport.
It’s ok to look like an amateur when starting out with anything- cause you are.
