3real5you, asoiaf/got reference@ko no, i mean get really in depth with the world-building and lore and crank out a few highly acclaimed novels or seasons of tv and then lose interest after a while and go do something else and leave it unfinished. then probably come back a decade later and executive produce a fairly decently written tingle spinoff for no reason to further twist the knife in the fandom lamenting a proper ending.
