my "language is dictated by use, not by rules" ass still desperately trying to find a good alternative solution for german enby pronouns that doesn't involve reusing male ones (cuz neuter option reuses a lot of male ones)

@ki @Jenetrix literally had people in (mental) healthcare insist that their professional code of conduct requires them to misgender us (unless we could offer an equivalent alternative which of course we couldn't).

and like the idea that being "professional" towards us without respecting us and our identity is both possible and more important is so on the nose for Austria (though also Germany). fuck your "professionalism".

kinda glad that most of us are fine with being addressed as a woman now cause this place is still hostile to nonbinary people.

I've had the same experience in Germany. Most healthcare professionals are luckily accepting and at least try not to misgender, but some do the wildest shit that I can't explain with any logic

@ki @elexia i wouldnt know if im being misgendered in german even when it happens because my german is so bad and my hearings is so bad i can barely understand whats being said
